Welcome to  Don Taylor's Kicking Instruction.  Within this site you'll find information on my placekicking and punting instructional service.

I work with only one student at a time. It's very simple, individualized instruction is much more effective than group learning. I can teach more in a one day intensive session then most kids will learn in a two or three day camp.  In addition the $150.00 fee is very competitive compared to the price of most camps. I have operated my sessions  for ten years and have been very successful.  I've worked with over 170 students from throughout the state of Florida and the past five years I've had students visit from the following states, Alabama, Texas, California, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa, New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia. Over a third of all students have returned for follow-up sessions.  In several cases I've worked with students for up to five years. The ability level of students ranges from Pop Warner to the NFL. In addition, a large majority of my students have attended camps and stated that due to the quality and method of instruction, they have learned more at one of my sessions then at a two or three day camp.  I've received the same comments from parents of these students who have attended a camp.  As I stated above you can expect to receive an intensive one day session of individualized instruction including a review of tape in a frame by frame manner that will analyze your technique in detail.  You will also receive a written evaluation of your technique to take with you that day.  I make no claims of offering scholarships or having coaches present but the instruction you receive will prepare you for any camp, combine, or try-out you may be thinking of attending at any level.  Please take the time to go to my Archives link and you'll see some of my past students.

My instructional program is for kickers/punters at all levels and covers the following areas.

1. Flexibility
2. Strength Training
3. Proper Drilling
4. Technique Review and Instruction
5. Mental Aspect

"When it comes to kicking field goals it's not how far, it's how many.  Focus on consistency not distance."

  Christian Adams
Guilford College
Click here to read about his season.

Christian Adams was named to the Division III All- American Team as the Third Team Punter.  This is the second year in a row Christian has been named as an All-American.  He made last years team as the Second Team Punter.

Following is an excerpt from a letter I received from Christian's parents shortly after the season.

"Don't know if we told you before, but Christian told us many years ago that first lesson with you (when he  was a freshman in high school) he learned so much.  He then attended *** Camp for several days and was so disappointed.  He learned much more in the short time with you than the days at *** Camp.
He said Coach Taylor is the best. We all realize Christian wouldn't have done as well without you adjusting his techniques, etc. and we thank you for that."
